Birchbox has continued to surprise me with the quality of the products i have received and this month is no exception. Again this month there is a great selection of products and i can honestly say i will use every single one of them. If i was going to recommend one beauty box to someone Birchbox would be that box. Here is a rundown of the products i received this month. The theme this month is Sun, Sea and Sand.
The first product in my box this month is Benefit The Porefessional I am a big fan of the porefessional so i was super excited to see this in this months box. I was using porefessional a while back but didn't repurchase due to having a few other primers i wanted to either try out or use up. It leaves your skin amazingly flawless and smooth and it is by far the best primer i have ever used. I had already added this to my list of things i want to get from duty free when i go away in a couple of months so this little sample will do me until then. I received a 7.5ml sample. The usual price for this product is £24.50 for 22ml.
The next product is from a brand i have never heard of before and it is Whish Three Whishes Lavender Body Butter. I always love trying new body creams especially body butters. This has a lovely smell and i am really looking forward to using it. Here is a snippet i copied from the Birchbox website 'Organic aloe, shea butter and raspberry butter conquer dryness, while organic seaweed extract contains naturally high levels of skin-firming peptides. The formula also includes organic rice bran oil, a natural source of tocotrienols, a potent antioxidant that defeats free radicals and provides UV protection' This is a 22ml sample size and the usual price is £14.50 for 150ml.
Next up is a product from my favorite nail polish brand Models Own. I recieved the shade Magenta Divine which is a gorgeous glittery pink and a shade i don't already own. I am looking forward to trying this one out. This is a full size bottle worth from £5.00.
Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream was the next product i pulled out my box. I don't currently use an eye cream although i know i probably should as i'm not getting any younger and having a four year old that thinks its appropriate to get up at 5:30am, my eyes could do with all the help they can get! It states on product description card that this is a 'A light, hardworking formula to brighten the eye area and keep wrinkles at bay' It is something i'm really looking forward to giving a try and i will be sure to review it once i've give it a good go. This is a 7ml sample size and a full size 20ml product is £20.00.
Another brand i haven't heard of before Laqa & Co Sheer Lip Lube In Menatour. When i seen the spoiler on the Birchbox website this was the colour i was hoping to receive. It is a gorgeous purple shade and i am looking forward to wearing this. I don't really have any purple toned lip products so i'm looking forward to seeing if it suits me. The other colour you can receive was a gorgeous orange shade. It feels super moisturising on the lips and has a peppermint scent to it and feels quite tingly on the lips. This is not a full size product but it is a very generous sample size and more than enough product due to it being a twist up. Although this is supposed to be sheer it gives plenty of colour and is quite pigmented. I will definitely be looking to purchase some more shades of these. The full size is £14.00.
The lifestyle extra this month was a Filosofille 4-sided Nail Buffer.
Definitely a good mix of products this month and there really is something for everyone. Did you get anything different in your Birchbox? What was your favorite product?
